Avira supports Windows Vista Service Pack 1

Full scope virus protection compatible with the new Microsoft system

Tettnang, 19 March 2008 – Users of Windows Vista can rely on the award winning protection of Avira AntiVir in the future: The anti-virus software will be fully compatible with Service Pack 1 from Microsoft for the 32-bit and for the 64-bit versions of Vista.

Avira will release version 8 of its product family at the beginning of April. Avira users will be protected under Vista in the future against malware as the update of the software will be automatic. Avira will announce the details of the new features in Avira AntiVir version 8.0 at the beginning of April.
